Verna was well known for her piano playing. She brought much joy to local nursing home residents and many other venues. She loved being with her children especially sitting on Jackie's porch. She loved playing with her grandchildren. No matter how old or young they were she enjoyed them at that moment truly living in the moment.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Gene) Charette of Madawaska, Jackie (Montfort) Chasse of Madawaska, Lise Couturier of Waterville, Allan (Brenda) Cyr of Madawaska, Ann (Mike) Bagley of New Gloucester, Richard Cyr of Madawaska and Lyne (Steve) Hebert also of Madawaska. Her sisters, Therese (Rival) Levesque, Bernice (Lionel) Ouellette; brothers Norman (Diane), Gilman (Therese) Sylvio (Theoline), Lionel and Leonard (Francis) Cyr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Verna was predeceased by her parents and husband, Leon Reed Cyr; her sons, Michael, Roger and Larry whom she missed terribly all her life. Having suffered these great losses, she realized how precious her children were to her.
