Houston, TX - Germaine (Geri) Marie (Sirois) Ahearne, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, April 28 at a Kingwood, Texas health care facility.
Geri was born on March 6, 1935, the daughter of Patrick Sirois and Cecile (Lagasse) Sirois and raised in a large family of 16 sisters and brothers. She grew up in Madawaska until she married Daniel P. Ahearne Jr., and moved away to raise her family. Geri and her family lived in many places both in and outside the US before returning to her hometown of Madawaska in 1985. She had many hobbies including knitting & crochet, painting, cooking, bowling, playing bingo, and watching her Boston Red Sox.
Geri is survived by her two sons, Michael (Jessica) and Douglas, and two grandchildren, Molly and Jake, all of Kingwood, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters Edna Certo of Michigan, and Normande Cantarella of Florida, and many nieces and nephews who were very special to her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at the St. David Catholic Church on Monday, August 12 at 10:00am. Burial will take place immediately after the mass, followed by a buffet lunch.

Mike & Doug, my heart goes out to you and your families. Your mother was a very sweet & kind woman. I have fond memories of her, and I always enjoyed seeing her. I will be thinking of you all.
