David P. Ouellette


Madison and Fort Kent - David P. Ouellette, "Dave," age 61, died unexpectedly at his home on February 23, 2019.
Born in Fort Kent, May 12, 1957, Dave was co-owner of Frank Martin Sons, Inc. and led the expansion of the business into a new branch location in Madison, ME to serve the entire State of Maine. He attended school in Fort Kent, graduated from Community High School in 1975, and received his B.A. in Business Administration from Husson College. Dave excelled in building relationships with customers and making new friends wherever he went. Dave enjoyed rebuilding classic cars and snowmobiles, and was an avid snowmobiler who raced competitively. He also liked to spend time fishing with friends.
He will be greatly missed by his close companion, Connie Jackson of Fort Kent; his parents, Reno and Doris (Martin) Ouellette of Florida; his sister, Susan Linehan and her husband Paul of Massachusetts; his brother, Steven and his wife Sandra of Fort Kent; his nephews and niece, David, Matthew, Patrick, Curtis and Christina. "Pep Dave" will also be greatly missed by Avery and Jackson Lovley.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 am on May 25, 2019 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. In keeping with Dave's wishes there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dave's memory may be made to the Arc of South Norfolk, 789 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood, MA 02090, which is an organization which provides support to people with developmental disabilities, including autism, or to the UMFK Foundation, Reno Ouellette Family Scholarship, 23 University Drive, Fort Kent, Maine 04743.
