Madawaska - Charles Sirois, 84, passed away on August 23, 2019 at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born in Frenchville on December 1, 1934, the youngest of thirteen siblings of the late Charles and Olive Sirois. After graduating from high school, Charles enlisted in the United States Army. He worked at the family run business, Sirois Dairy Farm before working at Fraser Paper, where he worked for thirty-six years until his retirement in 1998. Family was his priority and his grandchildren were the light of his world. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and pepere. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Rina (Levasseur) Sirois of Madawaska; three children, Kathleen Sirois McGrath and her husband George of Whitman, MA, Steven Sirois and his wife Michelle of Scarborough, Susan Blanchette and her husband Andrew of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Ben and Maddie Sirois, Hailey and Hannah Blanchette; one sister, Therese Signorile of Connecticut; one brother, Hermel Sirois of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by ten siblings, Lucien, Bertrand, Conrad, Louis, Valere, Robert, Claude, Patrick, Sr. Corinne, and Germaine.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, August 30, 2019 at the St. Thomas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home, Madawaska from 8:30am until 9:45am on Friday before the Service.
